Do you have insurance?

Safety and professionalism are my top priorities. I hold public liability insurance to ensure that all my tutoring sessions are covered. This provides peace of mind for both myself and my clients.

What is your teaching experience?

Having been a primary school teacher for the past 16 years, I have extensive experience teaching children in Key Stage 2. Throughout this time, I have held various positions of responsibility, including Phase Leader, foundation curriculum leader, and mentor for Early Career Teachers.

Before this, I began my career as a Teaching Assistant, where I focused on providing one-to-one and small group support for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). During my PGCE training, I completed placements in a range of schools, working with students in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

My teaching experience has primarily been with Years 4-6. This has given me the opportunity to support countless parents with their secondary school applications, offer advice on grammar school entrance tests, and help with Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) applications. My approach has always been to plan engaging, challenging lessons that are tailored to each child's individual needs, ensuring they not only make progress but also thrive in their learning and future aspirations.
